Answer:²¹ “The overall theory of the five major principles means the five major principles represented by the five characters Myoho-renge-kyo. Thus myō is the name, hō is the entity or essence, ren the quality, ge the function, and kyō the teaching. Also, there are two types of general theory regarding the five major principles. The first is the five major principles as they pertain to the Buddha’s intention. The second is the five major principles as they pertain to the capacity and feelings of the individual believer.
